Everyone knows starting a new business is normally a very expensive undertaking and the restaurant industry is no different. When you are starting up a new restaurant business there is not only the fitting of the industrial kitchen but you need to think of the fittings for the dining room as well. You will have to decide if you are just going to have tables and chairs or you are going to fit dining room booths as well. You will also need a bar and maybe a counter with fridges for drinks and shelves for the glasses and extra plates and cutlery. When starting out the restaurant business you need to save as much money as possible without buying substandard equipment, one way of doing this is to buy used restaurant furniture instead of brand new furniture. Things you need to consider when buying used furniture is how much furniture you are going to need, you want all your restaurant furniture to match, so you will need to find enough used furniture all the same design and make to fill your restaurant. If you do not buy enough it will be a lot harder to find more furniture of the same sort, so it is best to buy it all at the same time. Where possible you need to make sure all your restaurant furniture matches, if you cannot get an exact match you maybe able to buy some used restaurant tables and then just keep a look out for some used restaurant chairs which either match the tables or will not look out of place with the tables which you have bought. As long as all the tables are the same then all the chairs are the same as long as one is not antique style and the other modern then you should not have a problem. Tables and chairs are normally quite interchangeable. What you do want to avoid is having lots of different designed tables or different sorts of chairs mix and matched, you want to keep the tables all the same style and design.

If you decide you want to buy used restaurant booths then you need to make sure they either blend in with the décor of the restaurant or can be adapted to fit in with the décor of the restaurant. To adapt them you may need to re-paint them or reupholster the booths. Lots of these restaurant booths will need a little bit of redecoration before you can put them in your restaurant as you would be very lucky to get some restaurant booths which do not need any work and are the correct décor for your restaurant. Try searching online for used restaurant equipment and see what sort of savings you can make with a little work.
